Shark feeding at St Regis Bora Bora

At St Regis Bora Bora, a marine biologist gives great talks about sea life. These particular sharks do not bother humans... They live in an enclosed area at the resort. Several times a week, the tropical fish are fed so you can watch the sharks come out from the shadows. If you are lucky, the shark will "hunt" that day.

Bora Bora Island Guide's Response:
Hi Lisa! Thank you for sharing with us your close encounter with the sharks at the St Regis Resort Bora Bora! The colorful marine life in the Bora Bora lagoon is like a vast tropical aquarium. My favourite Bora Bora activities always involve this beautiful lagoon. It makes the experience even more meaningful to have a marine biologist explain the delicate nature of the lagoon environment.

I totally agree. You cannot go to Bora Bora and not explore the lagoon.
