Tahiti helicopter closure

How do I go about getting a refund for flights paid for in March 2017 for July 2017 however company shut down in early June or late May. Very disappointed no contact was made via email before just shutting up and closing. This was a present for my sons 30th he and his wife are honeymooning in Bora Bora currently .

Bora Bora Island Guide's response

Hi Pam,

We are all very sad about Tahiti Helicopters closure. It provided an extraordinary experience for tourists as well as life saving medical support for residents of the islands of Tahiti. It is very disappointing to hear that they did not contact you to arrange a refund.

Have you contacted them directly?

Next step I would recommend contacting Tahiti Tourism to see if they can assist in this situation:

Your last option would probably be to claim the loss through travel insurance.

We certainly hope they get back to you and will honor refunding your flight that was unable to be used. We are sure your son and his wife will have a wonderful honeymoon, as there are so many other wonderful things they can do in Bora Bora.

Here's our list of the top 10 things to do in Bora Bora if they want any ideas!

Kindest regards,
Melinda
