How do you book the cheaper pensions in Bora Bora?

Hi, We loved your website! We're curious what is the best way to book the budget pensions/homestays/bungalows that you mention. Thanks!

Bora Bora Island Guide's Response:

Hi Travis,
We are happy you have enjoyed our site and found it useful for your planning. The best place to find these Bora Bora pensions and home stays would be on Airbnb. Many islanders have opened up their homes for accommodation rental through this website.

You can also find some of the pensions on booking.com, just un-tick the hotel option and choose guest houses, holiday homes and bed & breakfasts under the accommodation type filter. There are certainly plenty to choose from at a range of budgets.

Just be aware that most of the budget accommodation options will be located on the main island, so you will need to take some excursions and day trips to get out to see the most beautiful sides of Bora Bora.

We hope you have a wonderful time in Bora Bora!

Kind regards,
Melinda
