Scuba diving Bora Bora and Surrounds

When is the best time to scuba dive in Bora Bora? What are the best dive companies? Any other islands around Bora Bora you would recommend visiting to dive?

Hi Michael,
Scuba diving is good all year round in Bora Bora. The only time that visibility is not so good is after there has been a lot of rain. So you might want to avoid the rainy season (which is summer) of December, January and February.
We hear good things about Bora Bora Dive company.
The island of Moorea also has good diving and is close to Bora Bora. And if you really want a fabulous 'once in your lifetime experience', I would recommend going out to one of the Tuamotu Atolls like Rangiroa. The lagoon there is like a underwater playground, teeming with colorful aquatic life.
