Traditional Polynesian Dance Shows

by Jannette
(USA)

Could you please give locations for traditional Polynesian Dance Shows with or without buffet dinners for Tuesday evenings.

We will be overnight on a cruise ship and saw a wonderful show 10 years ago. Do any of the current Tuesday shows include fire dancing?

Thanks.

Bora Bora Island Guide's response:

Hi Jannette,

The Hilton Resort and the Intercontinental Le Moana both host a polynesian show on Tuesdays. They are both Polynesian dance shows, not fire shows, but it they are both within easy reach for you.

At the Intercontinental Le Moana, it is possible to buy a drink and watch from the bar, if you are not wanting to have dinner there. To get there you will need to take a 15 minute taxi ride from the cruise ship dock to Matira beach.

The Hilton's show starts at 8pm. The Hilton has a ferry shuttle from the same place your cruise ship tenders dock, so it is easy for you to get to. The shuttle is usually hourly. If you contact the resort to tell them you want to come for dinner, they will book you on one of their shuttles. The last shuttle leaves around 11pm to go back to the mainland.

I hope this helps,
Kind regards,

Melinda
