Which side of the plane is best from Papete to Los Ageles

by Bob

I want to see the aerial view of Bora Bora from the plane on the flight from Papeete to Los Angeles. Which side of the plane should I sit?

Bora Bora Island Guide's Response
Hi Bob,
Unfortunately, chances are that you won't see Bora Bora on your flight going to LA. You may see Moorea very briefly after take off, but within a few minutes you are too high and too far away.

The islands of Tahiti are best seen on the inter-island flights that travel at much lower altitudes in the smaller, propeller aircraft. Flying from Papeete to Bora Bora you pass over Moorea, Raiatea and Tahaa until finally witnessing the glory of Bora Bora from the air.

You can read about the inter-island flight to Bora Bora, including which side of the plane to sit here.
