Tahiti Necklace

I have a necklace from Tahiti and I lost the black pearl. Is there anyway to replace the black pearl?

Bora Bora Island Guide's Response:

It sounds like you will need to take another vacation to Tahiti so you can choose a new pearl for your necklace!

If you are not coming to visit any time soon, you can find Black Tahitian pearls for sale outside of Tahiti. Ask at jewelers and also online jewelry sites for Tahitian Black Pearls. It is easier to buy loose or single pearls in Tahiti. Those sold outside of the country are usually already made into Pearl Jewelry.

If you want help knowing what to look for when choosing your pearl, have a look at our Tahitian Black Pearl Guide. And find information on where to buy Tahitian Pearls.

Quite a few people have suggested the pearl shop inside of the Tahiti air terminal. I purchased my pearls from Tahia Collins on Moorea.
